The Halton Catholic District School Board is pleased to host performances of the Resurrection Dance Theatre Troupe of Haiti on November 6 and 9 for the Grade 6 students of the Board. The ensemble explores themes of human rights and liberation, while celebrating the history and culture of Haiti through dance. The troupe uses the arts to build and express self-esteem, incorporating drumming, dance, song, and the visual arts.

Catholic Faith Leadership Youth Rally for Grade 8 Students
Tuesday, November 17, 2009 - The rally will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Location: Mary Mother of God Parish, Oakville. All Burlington Elementary Schools and St. Joseph Elementary School in Oakville will be in attendance. The Catholic Leadership Youth Rallies are titled: "Are You Thirsty?" and are based on the Focus on Faith Theme 2009-2011: "Hear the Word of the Lord, Learn to Do Good, Seek Justice".
