Message from the School Council Chair

Welcome to the STA School Council.

I have the privilege to be serving as your School Council Chair for this academic year. With the construction of the new building going on, it should be an exciting one.

What are school councils?

Catholic school councils are legally constituted bodies of elected and appointed representatives of the local school community established for the purposes of developing, encouraging and promoting activities which will enhance the quality of school programs and improve the levels of student achievement.

Our council consists of parents like you, Mr. Daly, Ms. Rolland (teacher representative), myself, and is open to any interested parents. So please feel free to contact me with any ideas or concerns you may have as a parent. I can bring them to the council.

If you cannot attend our meetings, either check the meeting minutes on the school website, or send me your email address to be added to a distribution list for automatic updates on school activities and current issues.

All are welcome to attend and participate in our monthly meetings. The meetings are held at the school, usually on the first or second Monday of each month at 7 PM. Please check the school calendar for exact dates.
